To celebrate two decades of craftsmanship and community, we're giving our longtime supporters a way to evolve their collection—while honoring the past.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Trade In any NightRider piece—in any condition.
  • 20% of the value of your next piece is covered—regardless of what you trade in & what the condition is.
  • The bigger the upgrade, the bigger the reward. Your 20% credit applies to your new piece—so the more you elevate, the more you benefit.

TERMS AT A GLANCE:

  • Available only for authentic pieces from NightRider’s first 20 years.
  • Applies toward new, full-priced pieces only.
  • Trade-up credit has no cash value and must be applied toward a new purchase at the time of the trade.
  • Available exclusively through NightRider locations and authorized team members.
  • For every one item you trade in, you’ll receive credit toward one new item. (trade in the same number of items as you plan to buy)
  • Customers must sign a Trade-Up Authorization Form for each piece. No getting the old piece back.
  • Trade-Up Program is happening May 15 – August 10, 2025

Can I trade in any NightRider piece?

Absolutely. We’ll take any authentic NightRider piece—no matter the condition. Worn, weathered, or battle-scarred, we’ve got you.

Can I combine the Trade-Up with other discounts?

You CANNOT combine it with our Military/First Responder Discount—but you CAN get the $20 Box Discount.

What’s the deadline to trade in my piece? 

All trade-in pieces must be in our hands by August 10th—whether you bring it in person or mail it to us.

I can’t make it to the store—can I still trade up?

Yes! Just give us a call. We'll help you pick your new piece and prepare your quote. Then we’ll email you a Trade-Up Authorization Form to print, sign, and mail in with your trade-in.

Can you send me a shipping label? 

Absolutely. For $25 per piece, we’ll email you a prepaid FedEx label. Don’t want to leave the house? FedEx can even pick it up from your door.

What happens after I mail it in?

As soon as we receive your piece, we’ll call you to complete your purchase. Your quote is already on file—so it’s a smooth finish from there.

Can I bring you my trade-in piece tomorrow?

The trade-in must be fully surrendered at the time of purchase. We’ll hold onto it for you today and have your new piece ready for pick-up tomorrow.

What if I change my mind after trading in? Can I get my old piece back?

Once you trade in your piece, it's final—we can’t return it.

What if I want to exchange the new piece for something else or get a refund?

We’ve got you. You can swap it for something else, and we’ll still extend a 20% credit of the new item. If you request a refund later, you’ll only get back what you paid out of pocket, not the full price or the piece you traded in.

Can I trade in more than one piece for a bigger credit?

No. It’s a one-for-one deal. Each traded piece earns a 20% credit on a single new item.

I’m trading in two pieces. Can I use one form?

You’ll need to fill out a separate form for each item you’re trading in.

What if I want the 20% credit, but don’t want to trade anything in?

Sorry—this program is for true trade-ups only.

I love my NightRider pieces and don’t really want to trade anything in… can I get the 20% credit?

We love hearing that—and we truly appreciate your loyalty. This Trade-Up offer is just that: a true swap, designed to help you level up your collection. To unlock the 20% credit, we do need a piece to be traded in.

What are you going to do with the pieces you take in?

This is the first time we’ve ever offered a Trade-Up Program, so we’re still figuring that out. Most likely we’ll melt them down. We may refurbish a few pieces that are in excellent condition—but honestly, the main goal here isn’t resale. This program is our way of thanking loyal customers and helping them upgrade into something new. What happens to the old piece is secondary to honoring the journey that got them here.
